One thought on “Wordless Wednesday: Hiroshima’s Origami Cranes”
When I originally saw this the Cranes were all white in the early ’70s. I have pictures somewhere, as well as the Peace Dome. I went to the museum, I do not recommend taking children. Out of all of the countries, I have visited, Japan was by far my favorite. I bought a car while I was there and traveled the local areas near Iwakuni, Hiroshima being a favorite. Even as populated as Japan is, you would be surprised at how easy it is to find beautiful countryside and forested areas. Oh, and getting a license to drive in Japan was an adventure all its own!
