I enjoyed this one for the insight into the community and people. I thought Charlie was a likable person. At least he showed remorse. Tonya, not so much.
I agree. Tonya wasn’t painted in a pretty light. I would actually have liked more time with these characters, as I still am not sure I totally understand what drew them to such extreme behavior. I was out on OBX just a couple of weeks before reading this one, so I felt very connected to the geography, which was a fun tie-in for me.
